Runnin' Rebel Basketball Pep Band

This popular band is offered as a non-credit course for UNLV students and the non-degree seeking   individual who desires to perform in a collegiate basketball pep band.  The band is directed              by Professor Anthony LaBounty.  Prof. LaBounty is ably assisted by faculty colleague, Dr. Zane      Douglass. and graduate assistants from the masters and doctoral conducting degree programs. 

       Required participation in scheduled (October) pre-season, Monday evening rehearsals (9pm-           10pm during football season, 7:00-9:00 after football season is completed), regular                           rehearsals, special performances on and off campus, and UNLV home mens and womens                basketball games.

             Registered members in good standing are also qualified for tournament travel, when                         applicable.  Performing positions are based upon student/registrant progress.  Registration                in fall semester satisfies full basketball semester season (November through March).                       Please contact Prof. LaBounty (tony.labounty@unlv.edu) for additional information.
