Scholarship auditions are offered in-person in December and January before the subsequent academic year. Auditionees are expected to play two excerpts of contrasting styles (lyrical and technical) and may be asked to play any of the twelve major scales.

If a student is unable to be present at either in-person date, a virtual audition is acceptable. Auditionees must record video and audio of themselves playing the excerpts, upload the video to Youtube, and share the link to unlvbands@unlv.edu
